Privacy Policy

Cam's Axe Manager is developed by Furey Labs. Your privacy matters, and the app is built around a simple principle: your data is yours. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information, and the app has no accounts, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking.

Information we collect

None. Furey Labs does not collect or receive any personal information from you, and the app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Everything you enter — your gear, photos, practice sessions, and tension calculations — is stored on your device.

Your data and iCloud

Your library is stored locally on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, the app also syncs your data to your own private iCloud (CloudKit) database so it stays in step across your devices. This data lives in your personal Apple account; it is not sent to Furey Labs, and we cannot access it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Barcode lookups

When you scan or enter a product barcode to add gear, the app sends only that barcode number to UPCItemDB (upcitemdb.com) to suggest a make and model. No personal information is included in the request, and the lookup only happens when you choose to add an item this way. You can always add gear manually instead.

Camera

The app uses the camera only when you choose to scan a barcode to add gear. Camera images are processed on your device to read the barcode and are not stored or transmitted by the app.

Microphone

The tuner uses the microphone to detect the pitch of your instrument in real time. Audio is analyzed live on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Purchases (Tip Jar)

The optional Tip Jar lets you support development through Apple's In-App Purchase. All payments are handled by Apple — Furey Labs never sees your payment details. Tips are optional, unlock no features, and the app is fully functional without them.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It contains no ads and no external content feeds.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
